Sonoco Installs FastPass Across 6,700 User Seats
Sonoco, the global supplier of industrial and consumer packaging, based in Hartsville, South Carolina, USA, has become the first major US installation to go 'live' with FastPass Password Manager. Sonoco is rolling out FastPass across 6,700 user seats, with the aim of empowering users and lowering the number of calls to helpdesk.
It took only six weeks from the first contact about FastPass until the first Sonoco users were in production with Password Manager. The FastPass systems integrator was Logic Trends, who are based in Atlanta, Georgia. VP of Sales and Marketing, Andrew Ames, highlights how successful it has been for Logic Trends to work with FastPass solutions:
"Anyone who is working with ID management structures on Microsoft technology will know how FastPass Password Manager fills a void in the market perfectly. I truly believe that the FastPass solution allows us the opportunity to quickly move customers to the right maturity, and show sustainable value with the Microsoft infrastructure," said Andrew Ames.
In the case of Sonoco the decision to go into production was quickly taken by the client's own IT staff after Logic Trends had installed and tested the solution on site, underlining how comfortable Sonoco felt with FastPass Password Manager.
"FastPass leverages AD and with FastPass Password Manager version 2.7 it does the same so beautifully for ADAM. This means that there is no need to touch AD in order to implement in a production environment. It really is a superior way of showing our clients how to add value to their AD and at the same time build extended and integrated services in their Microsoft infrastructures," said Andrew Ames.
